The Shakopee Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of all City streets, the sanitary sewer system and the storm drainage system. The department is also responsible for maintenance of City parks and City-owned equipment. The Department consists of the following divisions: Engineering (located at 500 Gorman St.), Streets, Fleet Maintenance, Park Maintenance, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drainage Utilities.
